The Annual Grand Slam USA Fall Softball League will begin Sunday, August 24, 2008. The opening day festival will
be held on Sunday, August 24, 2008 from 1:00pm - 3:00pm at Highlands Park. All participants are required to attend
as rules, schedules, clinic sign-ups, maps and team meetings will also take place after the clinic. Game dates are September
7, 14, 21, 28, and October 5, 2008. October 12th is reserved as the makeup day for any rainouts.
League includes the following:
- Instructional Clinic on Sunday, August 24, 2008
- 10 scheduled games with ASA umpires (ASA enforces face mask & chin straps for helmets)
- New Worth Dream Seam game balls
- Weekly skill clinics in pitching, catching, throwing, and hitting
- Weekly hitting practice with MVP hitting card
- Quickness and Agility training sessions with SOAR of COLUMBUS conditioning coaches
- Uniform top
The games will be played on Sundays from 10:00am - 6:00pm at Westerville area parks. Team coaches will be given schedules
for all team members with the times and locations of games and practices. If specific times are needed, please let us
know at the time of registration.
A coaches meeting will be held on Sunday, August 24,2008 at 2pm during the clinic. Coaches will meet with their players at
3pm. The team rosters and schedules will be given out at this time.
The registration fee includes all clinics, practice sessions at Grand Slam USA, quickness conditioning sessions, hitting
card, umpires, new balls, field rentals, games and shirt. Teams are limited to 12 players/shirts.
Shirts and team assignments wil not be completed until all fees are paid. The following is the price for Fall League.
